Easy Oven Roasted Paleo Beef Short Ribs

Bursting with flavor and easy to make, these beef short ribs cook low and slow in the oven. Paleo makes them accessible for all diets.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 lbs beef short ribs
  • 2 tbsp real maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp real salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 -1 tbsp crushed red pepper flakes

Equipment

  • 9 x 13 casserole dish
  • Silicon cover or aluminum foil

Method
 

  1. Place the short ribs in the 9 x 13 casserole dish. Mix together all remaining ingredients in a bowl, then slather thinly over the ribs. Don't worry if you run out of marinade, just do your best to spread it as evenly as possible.
  2. Cover ribs with silicon cover or aluminum foil and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  3. Turn on oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit. Cook ribs for 3-4 hours until meat is falling off the bone. Serve with white rice and vegetable.
