Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal

A satisfying, filling combination of soaked oats, banana, peanut butter, and raw honey.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup oats
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 tbsp apples cider vinegar, whey, or lemon juice
  • 1 large banana thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup natural peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
  • 2 tbsp raw honey
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch salt
  • 1 tbsp raw cream or grass fed butter

Method
 

  1. The night before, soak the oats with water and apple cider vinegar for at least 12 hours.
  2. When you are ready to cook them, add a pinch of salt and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium and cook for about 5 minutes. While oats are cooking, stir in peanut butter, sliced banana, and cinnamon.
  3. When oats are finished cooking, turn off heat and stir in raw cream (or butter) and raw honey. Divide between two bowls and sprinkle with chopped peanuts.
